Why Distance Learning
BAPS recognizes that most of us lead very busy lives juggling work, family and friends. It is not always possible to take time off at specific times to attend workshops, retreats and other types of training courses, which can often take place many miles away.
By taking a distance-learning course you can learn at your own pace at times that suit you. Some people like to learn quickly some prefer to take their time. By learning this way YOU decide how YOU want to learn, how much time and money YOU wish to spend on your development. All students have their own personal tutor who is an expert in their field and all courses include exercises so you can check your progress. All courses are certificated and complete in themselves.
Not everyone has constant access to the internet so although materials will be sent to you to you via email, you can download them to your own computers and therefore, you do not need to be connected to the internet all the time you are studying.
Many of the tools and techniques are applicable to all subjects and a sound grounding in these core skills is essential. It is therefore recommended that if you are a complete beginner you start with the Core Skills training, prior to starting on any individual subjects.
